Christmas Day 2011

I went to a church service in the evening. There was a huge crowd at the church gate, making queue to enter the church, there are hordes of non- Christian who are curious to see the service at the church. Also the other attraction was there is a screen show on Jesus movie outside the church within the church compound. And for these non-Christian in this country, the decoration and the whole Christmas spirit of celebration which is quite a western thing for them is already enough to make them wanting to see the church itself, anyway this particular church is making some sort of money out of the Christmas celebration, not a problem with me. But the main thing was this hordes of curious on-lookers who look idiotic with their cheap red and white Santa cap, trying and imitating to be 'west/ Christian', its beyond my digest.

And oh, last week, I went to a nearby mall from my home, the decoration make me feel the Christmas spirit which is a total absent here as its not a Christian country (Christians are mostly in south and in northeast and they are minority in this country), so in a way, it was good with the Christmas music etc. There were these 4 girls dress in red colour with a guy playing guitar for them singing a Christmas song, I have two opinion popped up in my mind when I first saw them. One was, this city/country is imitating 'west', and its not a Christian or west country, and when I thought about the 'imitating' part, I feel so pathetic on them, I feel like puking (sorry). But another thought was, celebration of Christmas brings unity here, though they are not Christian but sing Christmas songs and that brings the Christmas spirit, it does unite all with that thing to celebrate that is Christmas. There were also another group of girls, also wearing red dress with Santa cap walking around the mall distributing sweets to kids who are in the mall, they did bring a spirit of Christmas. :)

Digging of earth and dust

The city I currently lives in seem to dug the ground all the time, its either here or somewhere there. Its so annoying specially that it brings the dust. Even when there is no digging, dust is one of the omni-present in this city.

Since the last 2 weeks, some government construction were digging the side road of my area, seems they are putting a pipe underneath. And now that its over but they leave a residue of fresh sand, its so sandy and dusty. Not only that its winter, so weather is quite dry with a fog ( or shall i call it a smog, as its more of a fog mixed with polluted air ) so with the dusty sand and the fog around, I feel claustrophobic.

The reason of digging all through the year somewhere or the other in this city is basically due to the lack of proper planning from the beginning. Also, its a city where thousands people from outside immigrate in this city all the time, so there is a need to increase some of the things like more pipe or sewer, or even more telephone and internet cables. So digging seems to have solve the situation temporarily for few years, and then another digging. Its like a cycle of digging to me.

Milo Ventimiglia

Today I was surfing YouTube and listen to music randomly. One of the song I listen to was 'Big girls dont cry', by Fergie. I find the guy on the video familiar, I knew I've seen him somewhere on TV. I realised he was the same guy who was in Gilmore Girls, Rory's love interest Jess. He become so adult as comparing to Gilmore Girls days that i almost could'nt believe, though i know it was him, i actually cross checked him through google and wiki :) He is so hot looking in this video of Fergie. I kind of have a crush on him right now as i am writing about him. I did'nt find him that attractive in Gilmore Girls, though no doubt he was kinda cute. But today, i find him so hot/sexy/attractive, also could be the character he portrait in the music video that make him look so hot.

Teenage drama serials!

There were teenage drama serials that I watched seriously, although there were some seasons that i missed out. Today it just come to my mind about those days when i 'have' to watched and do not want to missed out on any, those days it was sort of an obssession to those teenage drama. I like them, the plot are interesting and usually there are cute guys :) and yeah, the girls are pretty too with all girly stuffs of fashion!

Here are the lists of teen drama serials that pops up in my mind today -

- Beverly Hills 90210 : I was barely teen when this tv drama came out, my mom said its too sexy, and that she forbid me to watched it. It comes out at 8.00 pm sunday night. If my mom is around I cant watch, so i often go to my cousin's house which is just next to our house in the neighbourhood just to watch 90210 series :) sigh! good ol'days! :)

- Gilmore Girls : I was in college when this drama was out. I like the funny side of the mother-daughter duo, the mother played by Lauren Graham is at times very annoying in my opinion (haha) she is indecisive, clumsy, disorganised and a very panicky character. Anyway, as much as i dislike the mom I enjoyed their drama.

- One Tree Hill : This is also during my college days :) I like it, I find Chad Michael Murray very attractive, he is not the kind that can be called handsome like his counterpart, James Laferty his bro on the drama. He is charming with an attitude. He played an interesting character. And yeah, the theme song was 'Dont wanna be' by Gavin DeGraw.

- The OC : Famous with the theme song 'California' by Phantom Planet. Another addictive teen drama, a bit more sensual and more adult plot than Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill in my opinion. This serial also came out during my college days. Benjamin McKenzie played Ryan Atkin as a troubled teen adopted by a wealthy couple, and his adoptive brother Seth played by Adam Brody, an awkward teen, he is hilarious at times, and cute as well :) As usual there are girls, Mischa Barton as Marissa, Rachel Bilson as Summer Roberts, both from the wealthy high-class of Newport Beach, Orange County, CA.

Cool by Gwen Stefani

"...Remember Harbor Boulevard
The dreaming days where the mess was made
Look how all the kids have grown
We have changed but we're still the same
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool..."

Whenever I watched this song's music video, it touches me. Though I have not been into such relationships. I like the flashback, they seem so innocent and also full of fun. I like the location too, Italy with the villa and the lake. One of the nice music video that stays in my mind!
