Polish Film Fest movie review

Nov 21 and 23, 2013
(I am a big fan on non-Hollywood movies, that is not mainstream commercial so that adds up my positive feedback).

Escape from the Liberty of Cinema is a pure satirical and amazing creativity from the director, I am amazed that the movie was made way before video conference was possible. I like the Woody Allen style or shall we call it a very 'different' screenplay. I get the humour of the movie so I enjoyed thoroughly, also its very comedic yet quite dark in nature.

The Promised Land, at first I was impressed by the main actor Borowiecki (stage name), Mrs. Zucker was a pure drama queen that make me detest her yet entertain me in one go. I like the story plot of industrial period of the 19th century and I think it can be educational for some study. I think the movie brought out the negative side of humanity in real sense yet coveted by the pure drama of lives. I like the fact that there is a cross-mixing usage of language ( German and Polish depending on whose identity in the story plot). The last few mins plots of some sort of revolution keep the mind roaming even after the movies end.

Intimacy bonding unconditionally

Some people wants to share love and care by adopting from far continent, and some just don't want any bond or intimacy of relationship even if its right in their platter.

Some personality are not meant for relationship.

"..Did I get too close? Oh, did I almost see what's really on the inside? All your insecurities; ... There is no fear now, Let go and just be free; ... So open up your heart and just let it begin; ...Acceptance is the key to be, To be truly free, Will you do the same for me?..." - Unconditionally by Katy Perry

My thoughts / ramblings

Via my Facebook status --

If you cannot or do not know how to pronounce my name, the least you can do is be polite. You do not have to keep asking me 3 or 4 times and imitate what I said WRONGLY, it just make you look stupid and ignorant. Yes, I find it very offensive specially when you give me a smirk look along with your condescending air you created just cos my name sound so different from you and the rest of you... ( by the way, I look different from you and rest of you too, if that make any sense at all ?)

This country is just hilarious, I am right now standing near one of the entrance of our company, at a hindsight, there are 17 number security with uniforms standing near and about the gate. These people loves security and uniform. No wonder at metro station, in every other places there are security person. Not only that, any house/apartment who think of themselves respectable enough have security guards on their 'so called' gate, kiss my a** to this security guards loving country and its people. Huh, I can't hide my sarcasm tonight.
Let me elaborate a bit - security are at all metro stations, at all malls entrances and mall parking entry, at half of the community park entry, at company entry gate, at shops ( not just in big shops, but all shops as long as they can maintain one guard who stand at the entry), at residential community gate, et al et al. Security loving a****

And here is some excepts of a sarcastic euphemism on the society of this country from a blog, owned by a friend Tennille Duffy --
India yeah India > http://doelephantslikejalebi.tumblr.com/page/3
Me [to gym receptionist, handing over rupees]: Hey, I can pay my fees today. That should be five thousand.
American man next to me: That's a lot of money! haha. For only two thousand, I'll chase you around the block with a knife! HAHA.
Me: I could probably get that for free if I wanted.
American man: Yea! Right - like, wear a skirt! Right?! HAHA
Me: [Withering look. Walks away].

"Sex, sexiness, and sex-y times are topics that are usually not spoken of in India, and generally bound to raise a lot of people’s sensitivities. We all know the usual (what the outside world would call) conservatism - no sex before marriage (for girls), no living together before marriage, no sex in films, no PDAs by couples, women should dress conservatively and cover themselves, etc etc. This is... kind of crazy when you think that, obviously, someone is doing it because India is going to become the most populous nation on earth soon. It’s also pretty fucked-up when you consider issues of gender, rape, and the general mistreatment of and conservative attitudes towards women and women’s role/place here" ---- Via http://doelephantslikejalebi.tumblr.com/

One Cafe that stands out to me

There is one small simple café that stands out to me, it is called Biker's Café. I recently went to Biker's Café, and I like it from the first instance. Since then I go there few times.

It is a simple café decorated with bikes and other bike items, they play American music from the late 80's till early 2000's which is great as in this city I rarely get to hear such music.

The menus consist of breakfast that are waffles with maple syrup, eggs, bacon et al. There are also pizzas, sandwiches et al. The nice thing about this café is that it is open at 7.30 am, so you can go there and have breakfast if you are too lazy to make breakfast at home or just feel like eating breakfast somewhere outside. Again let me stress this is the only eatery place I know in this city that is open by 7.30 am, which make this place so different and I like it, its just so un-local (or rather un-Indian style) to open a café that early. I like it.

Another is that there are games such as Chess, Checkers, Chinese Checkers, Scramble or word game, games cost 50 for an hour play. Last time I went for lunch with a friend and I played with him as well as taught him along the play the Chinese Checkers, we had fun.

The price are within my means so that is one more reason for me to like this café. I will definitely go again.

Best buy of this year so far!

Cinthol is the soap my mom used it on me since I was a baby. I used it for a long period and then around my middle school, we stop using it cos my mom said something like it is becoming rare and that other producst like Lux et al. are easily available in comparing to Cinthol. And then when I was an early young adult, I used it for awhile and then I never saw it again.

But few weeks ago, I saw it in a family shopping center and I immediately put in my basket. There was only one type of smell when I was a kid, but that day I saw 3 or 4 kinds of Cinthol, that have different smell. I took this blue one as it says 'cooling deo soap', as this city is super hot, I thought why not take the cooling one and it smells awesome too. So basically, to remind myself of my childhood days I bought this.

This is a liquid soap a friend gave me. It is from another country, I do not think this country have it, so far I do not see in shops and never heard of it here. Highly will not be available. I like it as it have a cooling thing when put on body. It smells like mint too. It also says it is environmental friendly., no use of naimal testling et al. Not only that the whole bottle is covered with sentences that are positive and inspiring, some even very Christian moral teachings. And it is really a huge bottle that I will take a long time to finish on my own.

I bought this from one of the middle class market, its made in China, but this is the kind of bras we get in my homeland, and I really like the shape, the fits and material. Its not expensive, but its good, and I am really gald I boiught it. The style is also very unlike of orient style, its a good copy of other west brands. Super. Make my boobs looks good.

I bought this from backpacker area in a leather wholesale shop, normally they export it. I like it as it is solid, it is big and wide, can keep a file. And it is also classy yet handy, it is so perfect for work, for going somewhere, I can put a whole lot of things such as umbrella, water bottle et al. And the price was good for such quality, raw materials and the made.

'Miserable' - my current status

This is so true.
"Just because someone is single, it doesn’t mean that they are lonely or miserable. And just because someone is in a relationship, it doesn’t mean that they are happy." - from some tmblr post

And the above picture that say 'I'm miserable' says it all about me.

And today I continously listen, 'Just give me a reason' by Pink ft Nate Ruess. I love the tune, modest sound and someway deep and classic to me.

♫♪♫
"Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them
.....
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again" ♫♪♫

Sonder

This is too beautiful for not to share. The definition of 'sonder' alongwith the photo is just so perfect together.
